History
  • The Volunteer Connection (TVC) is a Not-For-Profit organization founded by Natalie Hui, Christina Li and Jane Teng in 2001.
  • It was passed down to a new generation of coordinators (2006); Kathleen Cheung, Ryan Hui, Maggie Lau and Jonathan To.
  • TVC has helped organize volunteers for many events in the past including its two signature events: The Annual Toronto International Dragon Boat Festival and the Industrial Alliance Kitefest.
Objective
  • The Volunteer Connection strives to promote volunteerism among youths by having them engage in more community involved events. In this way, they can improve their work ethic and their social skills by meeting new people.
  • We also hope to help high school students fulfill their mandatory community service and help connect anyone who is looking to help/contribute to their community to various Not-For-Profit events in need of volunteers.
  • Most importantly, we strive for all to have fun.
How to Join
  • Fill in our Volunteer form found on our Join Us page to receive updates and information on upcoming events.
